C2060 Chain – ANSI Standard C-Type Double Pitch Roller Chain
The C2060 ANSI standard C-type double pitch roller chain has a double pitch straight side plate. Its universality, high strength, lightweight nature and flat surface make it a highly preferred option among many OEMs and engineers for manufacturing a conveyor system. The regular C2060 — the C2060R — is specifically designed for use in low- to moderate-speed settings.
Nothing is more frustrating for those working in agriculture, engineering, or manufacturing than a broken chain. It hinders progress and halts production costing lost time and money. Fortunately, our knowledgeable PEER Chain team is readily available to resolve all your chain-related and sprocket problems. It’s as simple as filling in our quote inquiry form here, and in one business day, one of our experts will have you on your way to back up and running.
Our C2040R roller chains incorporate solid rollers to enhance rotation on the bushing and reduce impact loads on the sprocket tooth when in use. You don’t have to worry about strength either, as our chain components are heat-treated to improve strength and wear resistance. For added durability, our stainless steel build gives you excellent corrosion protection.
All PEER C2060R roller chains are pre-loaded during manufacture to minimize initial elongation. They also undergo a hot-dip lubrication process to ensure complete lubrication of all chain components, to further extend the wear life and to reduce maintenance costs.
If you’re in the market for versatility, we’ve got you covered with three options to choose from. We offer the base ANSI standard C-type double pitch roller chain, an option with oversized rollers and one with oversized Delrin (plastic) rollers. The C2060R can be used with standard sprockets and attachments.
There’s also a heavy-duty C2060H chain for heavy applications. However, if your application requires a relatively small overall width, the C2060R roller chain is the way to go. That said, the C2060R is no slouch, as it has a tensile strength above 9,200 lbs, a 1.5-inch pitch and solid rollers. In addition, the chain has connecting links — also called master links — for joining its ends to an easily removable length extension side plate.
Roller Chains
The roller chain changed the world as it became a central factor in the industrial revolution and continues to facilitate modern industries today. PEER roller chains are known for their safety when running at high speeds and are the perfect choice to support machinery that powers assembly lines, harvesting crops, and transmitting power in conveyor systems. Highly flexible, c2060 chain is easy to add attachments to our chains adapting them to the transport industry.
PEER’s roller chains are highly sought after and capable of lifting heavy loads while staying sturdy, reliable, and cost-effective. Roller chain links are designed to engage with matched sprocket teeth allowing power to be transmitted between rotating shafts. Chain drives can handle very heavy loads with high torque because there is no slippage and very little stretching.
C2060 Chain-ANSI Standard C-Type Double Pitch Roller Chain
The C2060 chain has a double pitch straight side plate and is preferred by many because of its universal use, high strength, lightweight, and flat surface. It is designed for low-to-moderate-speed applications and long drives and used with standard sprockets. Our stainless steel option provides you with excellent protection against corrosion.
With three types to choose from, the ANSI Standard C-Type Double Pitch Roller Chain, the ANSI Standard C-Type Double Pitch Roller Chain with Oversized Rollers, and the ANSI Standard C-Type Double Pitch Roller Chain with Oversized Delrin (Plastic) Rollers you can be assured we have the right type of chains for your needs.
All PEER roller chains incorporate solid rollers enhancing rotation on the bushing while reducing impact loads on the sprocket tooth during operation. You can rest assured knowing that all chain components are heat treated to achieve maximum strength and greater wear resistance. Connecting links, known as master links, can be used to join the ends of a chain link with an easy to remove side plate to extend the length. All PEER roller chains are pre-loaded during manufacturing to minimize initial elongation. The hot-dipped lubrication process ensures 100% lubrication of all chain components to extend their wear life and reduce maintenance costs.
