JOB SUMMARY:
Directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resources function.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Coordinates recruiting, hiring, and developing compensation plans based on metrics and company goals. Leads the executive team in the execution and administration of the company’s wage and salary program.
• Develops and manages human resource training and compliance systems. Responsible for company’s compliance with federal and state legislation pertaining to all personnel matters.
• Key contributor for PEER’s training programs (LMS) and manages employee engagement and retention.
• Consults with legal counsel as appropriate or as directed by the Board of Directors on personnel matters.
• Works directly with department managers to assist them in carrying out their responsibilities on personnel matters.
• Evaluates short-term and long-term staffing requirements and actively participates in staff development, engagement, and training programs.
• Maintains a human resource and payroll system that meets the company’s requirements (Paylocity).
• Research, develop and maintain all aspects of employee benefits and insurance for the company.
• Participates on committees and special projects and seeks additional responsibilities.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
• Able to relate to all types of companies and all sales levels from a small manufacturing shop to a Fortune 500 company.
• Comfortable interacting with anyone from a CEO to a Material Manager.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent and 3 years industry experience in the HR field
TOOLS & EQUIPMENT
• Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word and Excel. Payroll (Paylocity) and ERP (NetSuite) system experience.
